In this world there are people with skills Special to manipulate objects and transform them into different ones. These people are known as alchemists. However, this process has rules that say that to carry out the manipulation is necessary to pay with something of equivalent value.
Our protagonist is a famous alchemist named Edward Elric, who lost his little brother Alphonse in an accident. Edward managed to contain the soul of his brother in a bundle, but superimpose the soul and the body of the deceased again it costs an arm, so the two brothers go in search of the Philosopher's Stone and thus get back to normal.
